Every trade on Pump.fun carries a fee, win or lose. In October 2026 a promoted token reached about $15M and collapsed after the posts disappeared. This is what public reporting says. We have questions.

Two days earlier
Pump.fun signs the trader Kimchi as a creative partner.
The post
A poster with a Pump.fun logo and a QR code opens a brand-new token, Project Kimchi.
The repost
Pump.fun co-founder Alon Cohen reposts it from his personal account.
Minutes later
Market cap reaches roughly $14–15M.
About 30 minutes
The post and the repost disappear. The token falls 95–98%.
After
At the time of reporting, neither Kimchi nor Pump.fun had given a substantive public response.
No. Paste any public address. Pumptax only reads transactions that are already public on-chain and never asks for a connection or a signature.
For every Pump.fun and PumpSwap trade the wallet signed, we back the published fee rate out of the SOL amount that moved. Priority fees and Jito tips are counted separately. The methodology page lists every formula.
Because they go to different places. The headline number is protocol plus creator fees, the ones charged by Pump.fun's own rules. LP fees on PumpSwap go to liquidity providers, so we show them but keep them out of the headline.
It is an estimate. Realised PnL comes from sells; open positions use the best live SOL price and count at zero when none exists. It cannot see trades routed through other wallets you own. The limits are listed on the method page.
No. It is a risk index from 0 to 100 built from public signals, with every reason shown. It has not been validated against a labelled set of past rugs, so treat it as a checklist, not a probability. A low score does not mean a token is safe.
Yes. Tick “Hide wallet on the card” before you download or post. The public link still contains the address, so share the image, not the link, if you want to stay private.
Only for wallets that opt in. Nothing is listed by default, and the live feed on the home page shows amounts and times, never addresses.
No. Pumptax is independent and critical of the platform. Its opinions are labelled as opinions, and its claims about events link to public reporting.
Paste a wallet and print the receipt. It takes about as long as a trade.
